Gulf Coast Oilfield Sporting Clays Championship
&
Trade Show
June 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2010

The second annual “Gulf Coast Oilfield Sporting Clays Championship & Trade Show” is set for June 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2010 here at GOL Shooting in Maurice, LA.

We would like to invite you all out to enjoy a wonderful event dedicated to the Oil and Gas Industry all along the Gulf Coast. This event encompasses all aspects of the oil field, from drilling and production to service and landowners, bringing everyone together for both a competitive and social weekend.

We will have 17 stations of sporting clays to test your skills, food and station sponsors to keep you full, and trade vendors showing off their equipment and skills.

The pricing from last year will remain the same for 2010. The trophy, t-shirt, and cap sponsors will cover the cost of those items. A gun sponsorship is available for $1,300.00. Entry to shoot in the main event is $75.00. Food, station, and trade show sponsors are free to come out and set up at no charge. Space for the food, station and trade show vendor’s is limited and will be issued on a first come/first serve basis.

2009 saw 349 shooters, 14 food sponsors, 8 station sponsors, a dozen trade show vendors, and 10 gun sponsors, as well as the trophy, t-shirt, and cap sponsors.

For 2010, we will be adding Friday as a main event day along with Saturday, offering 6 different flight times to choose from. Flights on both Friday and Saturday will be held at 8am, 11:30am, and 3pm. There will be no more than two (2) 4 man squads per station in any flight. You are welcome to enter a full four (4) man squad, or just enter as an individual. All awards will be for individual accomplishment. This is not a team event.

We will have five (5) Lewis classes for scoring as well as con-currents for each aspect of the oil field. Awards will be shotguns for the winner of HOA and of each class and con-current, and belt buckle awards for 1st through 5th place in each class.

There will be several side games available to play, such as snooker and long bird, with cash prizes for each.

This event was extremely well received and attended last year. We hope that you will choose to join us for 2010 and help build the most exciting and affordable shoot in the oil field. If you have any questions, or would like more information, please contact me by email: shotgunhawk@yahoo.com, or give me a call: 337-316-1936.  I will be happy to help you out!
